Went to have dinner in LB and wanted coffee. Saw that they have open mic on Wednesday's and decided to drop by. Pretty busy for 9pm.
Open mic I believe starts at 7:30 and goes on until whenever the list is done. They said around 10ish.
We arrived at almost 9 and left around 10:30pm and that was the last one. It's pretty cool. Stand up comedy and singers. Definitely check it out.
It had a "Friends" Central Perk Vibe with the college students and people just mingling around.
My first open mic experience and it was pretty neat! -

My boyfriend & I have been wanting to try this place out for a while. It was suppose to be the location of our first date back in January but for a reason long forgotten we changed it up and gladly we did.
The atmosphere itself is really cute. It sticks true to its name & there are plenty of tables/chairs, something many coffee places lack. But there is no AC so on a 82 degree day, it was not pleasant inside. But luckily there are a few outdoor seats.
We both ordered iced drinks. Iced vanilla latte & and iced white latte.
When I got mine, it was still very warm. Not enough ice, something I would have appreciated if the liquid itself wasn't warm.
Probably won't be back & super glad our first date wasn't there because it literally feels like a library. Everyone is so quiet & you feel as if you can't talk or make noise.
So that's a plus for people trying to study. -

Good employees quit when management is bad - bad employees quit when management is good! You're not only losing employees, you are also losing customers.
I'm not sure who the owner is here. Stands proof, that it is easy to guess, the employees do not either.
7-11 am is rush time in the coffee / breakfast Sandwich World. How can you expect one person to operate the register handling money and transactions, all awhile manning the toaster oven, pastries services, the blender, and (Most importantly) prepare espresso made products, to include, ice coffee's and maintain a clean and efficient floor.
Be a leader and step up. Help the employees out here, or shut down.
I'm not sure if this is how this place operates on the daily but my last three visits have all been at least 10 minute ticket times. Safe to say you're a three for three, or in baseball you struck out. And today to get a flat white and a toasted croissant roll took 18 minutes. Technically it took 17, because I left the building without getting either my coffee or my croissant roll.

Food was fresh, coffees were very good! Definitely a thumbs up!...I ordered muffins and croissants for my team members at work and they all loved it as well...I am so happy I have finally found a place that delivers a nice warm, soft croissant breakfast sandwich!! I highly recommend this place

I'd like to start off with the review on the little Asian lady behind the counter. She is MEAN! I requested the WiFi password to set up my things before buying something and she yelled at me. I told her I wanted to set up before buying sometime and she was very rude. As I was grabbing my wallet to buy something (to avoid conflict) she was making inappropriate comments and I felt harassed. Even after buying something she refused to give me the WiFi password so I had to interrupt another customer to request it (again). I really hope that whoever the manager is can address this issue (and her inappropriate attitude).
It's a bummer that she is so terrible because this is a perfect place to study and get some work done! I love the atmosphere and how it promotes quietness, which meets my personal needs. I'll give it one more try but if this continues, the little Asian lady is the reason they will lose a customer (who spends a lot of money every time).
